Our training programmes in times of COVID-19

With regards to COVID-19, the ACC complies with the guidelines of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment):

  • If you have the following symptoms, please stay at home:
    • (Common) cold
    • Runny nose
    • Sneezing
    • Sore throat
    • Slight cough
    • Fever (body temperature of 38 degrees or higher)
  • Wash your hands on arrival and repeat regularly throughout the day.
  • Cough and sneeze in your elbow.

We will provide disinfectant handgel and spray at our locations and make sure enough space between participants is possible.

Online lessons when classroom sessions are not allowed

The ACC continually monitors the latest news and developments concerning Covid-19. In the event that classroom courses are not allowed to take place, we have a good back-up solution: we are very experienced in offering our classes live online (since we have already done so for many years). Our experience is that the quality of the online courses is very comparable to the classroom courses, so this option can offer a good backup solution when necessary.

If down the track the Covid-19 measures (again) do not allow classroom courses to take place, we will offer the training programmes temporarily online. Once the Covid-19 measures have been lifted, we will continue the programme in class. So if you are interested in following a classroom programme, feel free to register for this option, because the programme will be able to start (on the condition of enough enrolments), irrespective of what may happen with the corona-situation.

How do the online classes work?

You will follow the lessons from the convenience of your own home via Zoom. As long as you have a computer with webcam and internet available, you are good to go. The online lessons will be taught live on camera by a teacher, while all students are visible onscreen and can interact as needed. Throughout the session, the teacher can separate the students in smaller groups to practice the different techniques and methodologies. This means that the online lessons offer very similar possibilities as the classroom lessons. You will be taught live by a teacher, can practice with your fellow students, and will receive immediate feedback on these exercises from your teacher.
