On Sunday 29 September 2024, the second Alumni Day of the Academy for Coaching and Counselling will take place.
Our previous Alumni Day in 2023 was a great success. We received much positive feedback from our former students – they had left the day full of inspiration and had enjoyed catching up with their former classmates and interacting with other alumni very much.
About the Alumni Day
On our Alumni Day, we will bring together former students to connect and get inspired by one another. This event offers you the opportunity to network with other graduates from the ACC and to attend workshops to inspire you within our beautiful profession.
The purpose of this Alumni Day is to:

For whom?
All ACC graduate students, both Dutch and international, will have the opportunity to attend the event. The Alumni Day will therefore be bilingual (Dutch and English).
Programme offerings
During the Alumni Day you will have the opportunity to attend the following workshops (LABS):
Business and career LAB:
The Business and career LAB is a space where students will explore together how to build their own practice and/or career and make it a success. On this Alumni Day, the topic of the Business LAB will be “in-company”: What are the opportunities for coaches to work freelance or as an employee in companies and organisations? Some of our former students will share their experiences and there will be room to discuss your own opportunities and ideas. The session will be led by Marian Kok and Martijn van der Werf.
Inspiration LAB:
In the Inspiration LAB, led by Arjan van Dijk, you will discuss new insights, and best practices and challenges as a coach/counsellor. Former students will share their theses, insights and methodologies, and will discuss these with the group. On this Alumni Day, the theme of the Inspiration LAB will be “state of the art“: What is it like to work with special or creative methods? How did former students develop their own approach? How do you make sure your approach is innovative? There will be examples of innovative methods by former students, and there will be space to brainstorm together.
