Gina Troncone (assistant teacher)

“Find your inner home – wherever the world takes you.”

What inspires you to be an assistant teacher?
I have always been intrigued by what it means to be on the other side of the classroom. While I did not initially see myself as a teacher, I have always felt a strong desire to support others, especially when they face challenges. Being an assistant teacher allows me to combine my curiosity for education with my passion for helping people overcome difficulties and achieve their goals.

About me
I studied enology in Italy but couldn’t complete my degree due to Covid. I later worked as a horse trainer and assistant enologist in Italy and France, and I’m now starting an online coaching business for expats.

Why have you chosen the ACC and what did the training bring you?
I chose the ACC after moving to the Netherlands and looking for the right program. Over the past two years I learned a lot about different communication styles and how to be less judgmental with myself and others.

Who is my hero and why?
I don’t have a hero in particular, but I admire people who support others and take action to make things happen.
