Programme offerings

Professional Keynote: Learning from Experience
Hear from Margarita Bernal, a dear teacher, supervisor and accomplished practitioner who will share her journey of building a diverse, as well as a collaborative practice. Discover how she navigated the early stages of her career, the turning points that shaped her approach, and her vision for what’s ahead. Her story will illuminate key questions: How do you build something that’s truly yours? What does collaboration look like in practice? How are the needs of clients changing?

Speed Networking Sessions: Building Your Community
Connect with fellow alumni through focused conversations designed to help you discover collaboration opportunities and expand your professional network. These informal exchanges create space to learn about the work others are doing and explore how you might support each other in building thriving practices.

Breakout Discussions: Deep Dives into Your Challenges and Curiosities

Methodologies, Approaches & Personal Growth – Sharing Real Experiences
What works for one client might not work for another. In this space, practitioners will share how they use different methodologies and tools in their real work, not as rigid formulas but as flexible approaches that evolve with experience. You’ll discover that the impact of coaching and counselling lies in developing your intuition and presence, and in being willing to adapt when something isn’t working.

Coaching, Counselling & AI: Navigating the New Landscape
With artificial intelligence becoming increasingly present in people’s lives, what does this mean for our work as coaches and counsellors? In this discussion, we explore how AI fits into the therapeutic relationship, the unique value you offer that technology cannot replicate, and how you might thoughtfully integrate AI tools into your own practice.

Building Clarity: Managing Client Expectations & Setting Your Frame
One of the earliest challenges many practitioners face is establishing clear expectations with clients. Whether it’s the first session or ongoing work, discover how to set a frame that works for you and your clients, how to communicate what coaching or counselling actually is, and how to handle situations where client expectations don’t match the process. This conversation directly addresses the reality many face when starting out.

Working with More Than One Person: Couples, Families & Teams
When you shift from working with individuals to facilitating couples, families, or teams, everything changes. You witness dynamics unfolding before you in real time – the conflicts, the patterns, the breakthroughs. This discussion explores the unique opportunities and challenges of group and relational work, drawing on practical experience from practitioners who have developed this speciality.

Why This Matters Today

The field of coaching and counselling is shifting. Practitioners need more than techniques – they need wisdom, flexibility, and a sustainable approach that supports their own wellbeing. This day invites you to step back from the how-tos and think about the bigger picture: Who do you want to be as a practitioner? How do you want to work? What kind of practice will sustain you? What does it mean to be a conscious, collaborative presence in today’s world?

Whether you’re just beginning or you’ve been in practice for years, you’ll find something here that speaks to where you are on your journey.
