We’d like to introduce ourselves as the new Alumni Board. Our vision is to nurture the growing community of coaches and counsellors around the ACC and to cultivate a living network where peers connect, experiences are shared openly, and meaningful conversations inspire both professional and personal growth. Our Alumni Board is composed of six members, all alumni of the ACC: Lucia Babina, Daniela Dzuganova, Iva Horejsi, Yumi Ichida, Tamara Kuselman, and Shaheen Nazir.
Our first initiative will take shape at the Online Alumni Gathering on Thursday, January 29, 2026. This event will be the starting point for building a shared space of connection and support among us.
About the Alumni Online Meeting
Private practice usually means working independently. Most of us deal with the same questions – how to find clients, how to build a niche, what to charge, how to handle tricky situations – but we’re all figuring it out separately with limited access to knowledge and support. But what if there were a network of students and professionals dedicated to helping each other grow, both personally and professionally? This initiative is a step toward making that a reality.
Programme
7.00 – 7.05 pm
We’ll explain what we’re trying to build.
7.05 – 7.25 pm
Lucia Babina and Sergei Zhilin talk about what works (and doesn’t) when building a professional community.
7.25 – 8.15 pm
Small group work. Bring an actual problem you’re dealing with—client acquisition, fees, boundaries, whatever. We’ll work through these together and see what solutions emerge.
8.15 – 8.30 pm
Group debrief. We’ll also set up a WhatsApp group for referrals and ongoing peer consultation.
Who this event is for
All ACC graduate students, both Dutch and international, will have the opportunity to attend the event.
What you’ll get
Some practical input on whatever you’re stuck on right now. A group of people dealing with similar things. A way to stay in touch that’s more useful than LinkedIn.
