SNRO – Dutch Register for Education
The Dutch Register for Education (SNRO), in Dutch: Stichting Nederlands Register voor Opleidingen, is an independent institute for quality assurance of professional education in the private educational sector.
From 1 March 2022 to 1 March 2025, our training programme Coaching and Counselling Year 1 was accredited by the SNRO (Dutch Register for Education). As of May 2024, this training programme has been accredited by the SKB.
What does independent accreditation mean?
Accreditation means that an independent party assesses whether training programmes and organisations meet certain standards. This involves assessing whether the programmes are at Higher Vocational Education (Dutch HBO) level and whether the level of graduated students meets the professional profile for coaches/counsellors. In addition, the organisation is examined for its professionalism and quality standards.
An accrediting body monitors:
- How we integrate our vision on education in the training programmes.
- Whether the level of our training programmes is at Higher Vocational Education (Dutch HBO) level.
- Improving and monitoring our quality.
